Village house _ Librantice
The design site is a village in the Librantice County of Hradec Králové, which has an almost undisturbed and unified architecture of typical archetypal farmhouses with saddle roofs. The object design study humbly and with a sense of regional architecture and how historically farms and dwellings in this area were built. They are complemented by original features that give the whole house a modern concept, with original historical features. The main idea of the project is to create an intimate background for the family. That is why the layout of the building is formed into an imaginary L shape. This "withdrawal" creates very private spaces in the smaller courtyard, which is also a typical element of historic village buildings. The material solution of the object is chosen in pure form referring to the elements used in the area. Burnt roof tiles, white facade plaster, facade facing facade, wooden facade elements left in natural colors. The house is supposed to function as a compact environment where the whole family meets and is in close contact. But the design also creates pleasant corners, both in the interior and exterior, which stimulate a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation.
